Payroll Giving Scheme
Payroll Giving is a simple, tax effective way fro your employees to give to charity from their pay. Surveys show that each month around two thirds of us give to charity. Giving regularly to your favourite charitable cause is an excellent way to help others and do something to make the world a better place.

It's so easy
All the help you need is at hand to get your scheme up and running. In fact, most payroll software systems are already capable of administering a Payroll Giving scheme. And because all schemes are administered by a special Payroll Giving agency approved by the Inland Revenue, your work is even easier. Simply send all the money collected to the agency once a month (at the same time as PAYE tax is sent to the Inland Revenue) and the agency will do the rest.

It's low, or no, cost to you
Since the Payroll Giving agency does most of the administration, any costs you might incur are minimal and are likely to be absorbed in your existing payroll costs. Plus any costs incurred running a scheme are allowed as a deduction against your profits.

Internal publicity
Running a Payroll Giving scheme is good for your business because it shows that you care about your staff and the community - helping to build better employer-employee relations as well as attracting the right people to come and work for you.

Corporate citizenship
Enrolling on the scheme shows you are committed to working in partnership with the community, so improving the company's public image and leading to positive external publicity.

Matched Giving Scheme
A matched giving scheme is where the company matches any charitable donations made by its employees.

Supporting your employees by matching their own donations is not only good for employee morale it is also tax efficient for the company.

Talk to your accountant about who to set this sort of scheme up.

Walk for Life
Each Year we enter a LLGS team in Cruisaid's Walk for Life, which is a 10km sponsored walk through london on a bright summers day (usually!) which raises money for HIV projects.

Sponsorship raised by our team is split 50/50 to support both Cruisaid's HIV work and our HIV prevention and sexual health work on the phones.

This raises a significant amount of money each year to us. It is also great fun with food, drinks, music and entertainment organised by Cruisaid. In addition it is a great team-building event with stops along the route to socialise and quench one's thirst.

Email us to find out how we can help you enter a team of your employees into this event so you can help us prevent HIV.
